MAE® brand “Size 34” hybrid stepper motors for industrial applications feature a robust design and rugged construction to promote high reliability and long service life. They enable accurate open loop control for high-performance positioning applications and have been optimized for superior torque characteristics and efficient operation.
Low ratios of detent torque to holding torque deliver smooth and quiet operation and the fine positioning capability required for microstep operation. A top-to-bottom insulation system incorporating stator insulators and other components allows these motors to withstand internal temperatures up to 130ºC.
These hybrid steppers include three models with step resolutions of 1.8º (200 steps per rev) in full-step mode. Holding torques (bipolar) of 770 oz-in, 1062 oz-in, or 1416 oz-in can be achieved, depending on model. All versions are available in standard NEMA34 mounting configuration and are manufactured according to EN 60034-1:1995-02 specifications.
They feature precision-honed stators and ground rotors for tight air gap and maximum performance; single- or double-ended shaft extensions; and high-temperature grade neodymium iron bore magnets.
These motors additionally can be equipped with gearboxes, encoders, shaft details, leadwire connector assemblies, and with other options to meet particular application requirements.
